From the perspective of the instructor and based on the cognitive theory of multimedia learning, we discussed the influence of the gestures and eyes of the pedagogical agent in multimedia learning, and the influence of social cues, physical cues, spatial contiguity, space and other factors on the effectiveness of the pedagogical agent.
It is conducive to further deepen the theory of the cognitive theory of multimedia learning, provide better data support for social agency theory, and help to improve the existing multimedia learning materials and product design.
From the learner perspective, we discussed a series of generative learning strategies based on the theory of generative learning, such as learning by summarizing, learning by drawing, learning by imagining, learning by self-testing, learning by self-explaining, learning by teaching.
These strategies promote learners to perform meaningful generative learning from different angles.

Our team focuses on children's processing of media information, touch screen media and children's learning, as well as children's network cognition, etc., and further advances the research on the relationship between emerging media and children's development. For example, we explored how children process digital media information and use touchscreen media for learning.
All these studies have provided theoretical reference and practical evidence for how children use new media to learn and promote their own development in the network era, and have also provided inspirational value for how interactive devices or products can better serve children's learning and improve their learning performance.
We also focus on children's online cognition and selective trust. We have carried out a series of studies to explore the mechanism of children's choice of information trust, which has laid a good theoretical foundation for the discussion of children's selective trust of online information.
